Finding Calm in the Unknown

As we prepare to enter yet another uncertain week in this world, it’s easy to feel the weight of the unknown. The news cycles, plans change, and the ground we stand on can feel uncertain. But uncertainty has always been a part of the human experience. Even in the midst of change, whether it’s a global crisis or times of social change, people have always managed to get up each morning with a sense of courage in their hearts.

Uncertainty does not mean the absence of purpose. It does not mean the absence of hope. In fact, it is often an invitation to trust more deeply. When we can’t see the entire path ahead of us, we are gently encouraged to take the next step. To breathe. To focus on what we can see in front of us today.

This week, instead of preparing for what might go wrong, why not take a moment to ground yourself in what is steady and true? Your values. Your faith. Your love for the people around you. The simple, quiet cycle of waking, working, resting, and beginning again.

May you carry calm into chaos, patience into pressure, and light into uncertainty. And may you remember: even when the future feels unclear, you are not walking into it alone.
